MY STORY
MS, Mental Health, and Life
When I first went public to family and friends about struggling with my mental health, I was shocked by how many people suddenly chimed up saying, "Oh! I've been dealing with that too!" I thought I was the only one in my circle. I waited years to get help because I was ashamed. If only I knew. Since that time, I have been passionate about speaking out when I am struggling in the hopes that I can let someone else know that they are not alone.

I was diagnosed with Relapsing Remitting Multiple Sclerosis on July 8, 2020. Through that, I discovered another community of people who just want to be understood. In letting the world look into the nitty gritty of my life, I hope to spread hope and awareness to all.

I have RRMS, Major Depressive Disorder, and Generalized Anxiety Disorder. Additionally, I have smaller disorders that I've not officially been diagnosed with because I've not actually talked to my doctor about them. Among them are Maladaptive Daydreaming and Dermatillomania.

I live in North Carolina surrounded by my boyfriend (PTSD, MDD, AAD), my rescue dog Athena, three cats named Trip, Gabby, and Dean, and a panther chameleon named Steve! Take a peak into my not-at-all put together life and remember:

YOU ARE NOT ALONE
